Share a ground with me, so we can play hide and seek.
Between the verbal and non-verbal,
Between the emotional and the physical,
The yearning and the surrendering to what unfolds.
What are the ways we bless the space between us?
Innocence of eyes, a smile, some words,
Little pauses, a taste of fresh air,
A unique rhythm of our breath,
An embrace by the warmth of our energy and freshness of sight,
While surrendering to the pace of our inter-beaming hearts.
Every encounter strikes a chord, playing a fret on the beaming and beating of our heart.
This beauty, which some might call friendship,
others might call it love.
I invite and explore it as the “ground where the sacred plays”, drawing us near, while expanding you and I into the unknown of what our us can be.
